Graduation Sunday
This past Sunday, 22 June, we had a special time to recognize our 9 graduates from the corps. It was a holiday weekend, so only 4 were able to make it, but it was still a wonderful day.
We began with a breakfast for the graduates before the meeting.
During the meeting, the graduates sat in the front of the chapel. We had a special time when people from the congregation could pray for each of the graduates. In front on the left you see Anneli and Chris (who both graduated from high school) and on the right are Kristel and Priit (who both graduated from 9th class).
After the meeting, we had a meal for everyone. Each graduate sat at a different table. Here you see Chris at one table and Priit at the other.

The Mission Team Arrives
The Mission Team from USA East arrived safely in Estonia on Tuesday!
Andrus gives a flower to Mhairi (an Estonian welcome tradition) as Peter looks on.
Olivia and Kelly pass through customs into Estonia!
The rest of the team makes their way through to the welcome committee.
Now it was Anneli's turn to give out flowers.

bad hair day & the Swedish War Cry from Finland
Hat tip to Mitchenstein for the following, showing me (having a worse-than-usual bad hair day) at the corps with my family:

I've seen the magazine in Finnish, but didn't realize it was also on the Internet (in Swedish!).

Lasteaed
Tomorrow we'll take Peter to visit his lasteaed (literally "kindergarten" which is literally "children's garden" but it's basically nursery school). He'll start attending in September.
Chris and I will go, because Tim and Elizabeth will be on the NELK (women's club) outing.
I'm kind of nervous about it. I hate speaking Estonian with strangers. And Peter doesn't speak Estonian (yet!). So, if you could pray for us tomorrow (Sat. 6 June) at noon, I would be really grateful!
