Johannese 3:17

Sest Jumal ei ole Oma Poega läkitanud maailma, et Ta maailma üle kohut mõistaks, vaid et maailm Tema läbi õndsaks saaks!

For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

"they need to see Jesus in action"

http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2009/may/30.52.html

In response to this, my friend wrote:
"This was a great article, Evelyn. I agree wholeheartedly in the premise of housing first - then change.
"We so often come to others to help them with an agenda - evangelism. And while we do want others to meet Jesus and love him like we do, we miss the point. They need to see Jesus in action, through us, before they'll hear us. No agenda - just the ministry of compassion. That's when true ministry begins. That's when true change in a person's heart can take place."

All I could say was, "Wow!" We often get asked this question -- why we do what we do -- and I hope I answer half as well as Kathie did! This really sums it all up perfectly.

Lasteklubi Final Party

The Lasteklubi had their final party on 5 May. There was a good turn out, with lots of singing, games and prizes.

The children wait to go into the chapel to recite a Bible verse and select a prize.

"our door is always open"!!!

"The Army is old-fashioned but modern at the same time. What you see is what you get. We never say we will only help you if you share our beliefs. Even if the person has got into trouble on their own accord, and keeps getting into trouble, our door is always open."
