praying for soldiers during Lent

This week we pray for:

Maire is a single mother raising three boys. How can I not think of my own mother, who raised three girls alone (after raising two boys!)? Her sons are Eero, Vesse, and Aappo -- all junior soldiers. Eero and Vesse went to England with Tim and Chris (total of 11 from our corps gone for a long weekend mission trip). Maire works at the Salvation Army Youth Center (Lastekeskus) in a Russian-speaking part of town, although she's not (yet) a strong Russian speaker! She has become one of our faithful Bible-Study attenders, and we really enjoy that time together. She is also the Home League treasurer and attendance taker (there's probably an official title, but I'm not sure what it is!). Please pray for Maire, her three boys, and also her father who lives with them. God knows their needs.
